Foreign nationals planning on visiting Cote D’Ivoire with an ordinary or official passport must obtain a biometric visa.
A visa request can either be made at the Ivorian Embassy in the corresponding country, or on the following website: www.snedai.ci (an electronic biometric visa will be issued upon arrival at the Abidjan airport once the online application and payment have been successfully processed).
All foreign nationals must be able to present a valid visa or resident permit upon request by appropriate law enforcements officials. It is possible to obtain an invitation letter for the 5th African Union – European Union Summit. This letter will be of assistance in your visa application process. Please note that the embassy or consulate reserves full decision rights for visa granting and should be contacted for any related questions.
